Welcome to Pickleball Is All. I’m Ann, a longtime Texas Hill Country local and a total pickleball beginner who got hooked the moment a new facility opened up nearby. This site is where I share everything I’m learning, discovering, and curating for the Hill Country pickleball community. No expertise claimed, just honest notes from someone out here playing, exploring, and paying attention.

New to pickleball?

Same. A few things worth knowing right away: the kitchen is the no-volley zone near the net and respecting it is basically the whole game, a dink is a soft shot that wins more points than power ever will, and scoring only happens on your serve with games going to 11. Oh, and the pickleball community is genuinely one of the friendliest in all of sports. Check out the FAQ for more basics.
